Some sellers prefer for a variety of reasons to sell their property outside of the public Multiple Listing Service, which lists properties for sale. I keep my eyes and ears open for “off market” opportunities for my buyers through my network, opportunities that are not made available to the general public.
I just represented buyers who bought “off market” a panoramic view two bedroom, two bath co-op in the Russian Hill luxury building known as the Royal Towers. The photo above is a view from their deck. My clients tried twice before to buy units that were on the market this year in this building and came close but other more competitive offers prevailed. Finally, an “off market” opportunity arose when the owners of this unit decided they wanted to sell their unit. In this instance, my clients knew the sellers and identified the opportunity, and we moved quickly and the transaction recently closed and my clients are thrilled.
